Overview

Dental Care & Implant Center Kraków is a dental clinic in Kraków (two sites), led by Arkadiusz Makowiecki — dental surgeon, Ist Degree Specialist in Dental Surgery (the clinic's wording), offering dental-implant treatment for international patients. Travel2Doctor independently assesses clinics like this one for UK patients considering treatment abroad — what we’ve checked, and what we haven’t, is set out below.

What Travel2Doctor checked

A green tick means we confirmed it against the source. An open circle is something we haven’t verified yet — we show it as “to confirm” rather than pretend otherwise. A cross is a claim we checked and did not accept. This clinic hasn’t joined Travel2Doctor, so we haven’t vetted it. What we have checked against the source is marked; everything else is still to confirm.

  • Clinician registrationArkadiusz Makowiecki — dental surgeon, Ist Degree Specialist in Dental Surgery (the clinic's wording) — Two seven-digit numbers are published as "Registration Number" — Arkadiusz Makowiecki 1960460 and Sylwia Minorowska 1674940. Neither has been checked, and the site does not state which register they belong to. The other six named dentists publish no number.to confirm
  • AccreditationNone recorded — no clinical accreditation is claimed on the clinic's own siteto confirm
  • Implant systemsThommen and Neobiotech are named in a published patient case; Neobiotech and Camlog are named on the price list. Our shortlist also recorded Nobel Biocare and Straumann, neither of which was found on the pages read on 2026-08-28.to confirm
  • Written guaranteeNone found. No guarantee, warranty or aftercare terms appear on any page read, and there is no guarantee page on the site.to confirm
  • LanguagesExplicitly UK-facing — an English-language .co.uk site, sterling pricing throughout, a WhatsApp contact, and a claim that treatment in Poland is carried out in exactly the same manner as it is practised in the UK (their wording)to confirm

Treatments & indicative prices

Single dental implantimplant + crownfrom £670
All-on-4 full archfrom £4,450 full reconstruction, 6 implants

Typically 50–70% less than comparable UK private treatment. See how the prices compare →

This is the clearest screw-versus-crown ladder on the Kraków list and the one most useful to the Poland route page, so record it precisely. "Basic implant placement package £350 per unit" is the FIXTURE ONLY. "Neobiotech implant package £670 per unit" and "Camlog implant package £1,031 per unit" are each stated by the clinic to include screw, healing ring, prosthetic abutment and metal-ceramic crown — a complete tooth. The headline figure above is therefore the £670 finished tooth, not the £350 screw. 3D CBCT scan £50–60, described as necessary before implantation. Metal-ceramic crown on an implant separately listed at £510. The full-arch figure above is the clinic's "full reconstruction with 4 upper + 2 lower implants and acrylic dentures, from £4,450" — that is six implants and dentures, NOT a conventional All-on-4, so do not compare it with an All-on-4 price without saying so. Read from the clinic's own price list on 2026-08-28; advertised list prices, not quotes. One arithmetic flag before any of this is used: £350 fixture plus £510 crown on implant is £860, more than the £670 Neobiotech package said to include both — so either the £350 covers a cheaper fixture than the Neobiotech one, or the two lines are inconsistent. Ask which, and get the abutment priced separately.

The clinicians named by the clinic. We confirm each one’s current entitlement to practise on the Polish Central Register of Physicians and Dentists (rejestr.nil.org.pl) before presenting them as verified. Chamber membership is compulsory in Poland, so that register is the test.

None found. No guarantee, warranty or aftercare terms appear on any page read, and there is no guarantee page on the site.

Questions patients ask

Is dental treatment abroad safe?
It can be — if the clinic is licensed and the clinician is registered. We check both, and we’re open about what we couldn’t confirm. See how to check a dentist abroad and how we vet.
What if something goes wrong when I’m home?
Your NHS safety net is thinner than most people expect. We explain exactly what you’re entitled to in our NHS aftercare guide.
Will my travel insurance cover it?
Usually not — planned treatment and its complications are typically excluded. Here’s the gap, and what actually covers you.
Who pays if the work needs redoing?
That turns on the written guarantee — get it in writing before you travel. We explain who pays for revision work.
How many trips will I need?
Most implant cases need two visits, months apart. We break down the timings here.
