Dental implants abroad

Dental implants abroad

A single implant costs £2,000–£3,500 privately in the UK. Abroad it can be a third of that, which is why roughly a million Britons a year look into it. The saving is real. What varies is whether anyone checked the clinic.

Where we cover

Hungary

Budapest is often called the dental capital of Europe. Here's what treatment typically costs, and how to choose a clinic you can trust.

Poland

Kraków treats far fewer British patients than Budapest does — which cuts both ways. Here's what treatment typically costs, and how to choose a clinic you can trust.

What we will not tell you

We will not tell you a country is "the best" for implants. Cost varies more between two clinics in one city than it does between countries, and the thing that decides whether treatment goes well is the individual clinician — not the destination. Any comparison that ranks countries is selling one of them.

What we will do is name the clinician, check they may currently practise, get the guarantee in writing with its exclusions, and say plainly when we could not confirm something. That is our whole method, including who we turned down.
